Cassie is involved in a beauty course so her tutorials are always of a very high professional standard. Her how to videos are very interesting and range from hair extension guides to airbrush foundation tips. She always features different make up tutorials and varies her techniques which I find is quite rare in most beauty gurus. It is evident Cassie's videos will continue to increase in already high content quality.

How a video is edited, for me, is a great seller when deciding on whether to subscribe to a YouTuber and Bethany's videos are beautifully presented. Her videos are very fun and interesting to watch and it seems like she puts a lot of effort into making her videos the best they possibly can be. Bethany features bloopers at the end of her videos which never fail to make me laugh.

Tag | Seven Deadly Beauty Sins

This tag has been flooding my YouTube subscriptions for a while now so I thought I'd have a go at a blog version. If you don't already know, the traditional Seven Deadly Sins featured in The Bible are: Pride, Greed, Envy, Wrath, Lust, Gluttony and Sloth.

What is your most inexpensive beauty product?
Boots Simply Sensitive SPF 15 Oil Free Protecting Day Moisturiser (phew, that was a mouthful). I'm really sick of dishing out £3.99 every few weeks for my usual tiny Nivea Daily Essentials Oil Free Moisturiser so I thought I'd give Boots' own brand a go. Over twice the volume and almost double the SPF factor, I'm pretty pleased with my alternative purchase. Also, this is on offer for £1.89 at Boots at the moment, a third off the usual price.

What is your most expensive beauty product?
Apologies, I'm cheating a little bit here. It's my Shu Uemura eyelash curlers. I purchased them on ebay for £4 including shipping, except Harvey Nichols and the Shu Uemura website are selling the curlers for £20. However, the price does add up as I've repurchased these curlers five times, each costing £4. It's really unfortunate Shu Uemura don't sell the curler refills separately so a whole new device is required everytime a pad wears out. I'm not one to splurge on beauty products as I tend to re-purchase products I know work for me, which adds up in cost itself.

What beauty product do you have a love/hate relationship with?
Definitely my No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation (03 Porcelain). Last year, the No7 counter lady applied this to my skin and it looked utterly flawless. Under the shop lights my skin looked sheer, natural and eliminated the need of concealer to cover my blemishes. After I paid £13.50 for the foundation, I glanced in another shop window to admire my new purchase then.. BAM. I was met with a very orange face. A lesson I've learnt is to never be fooled into buying products tried on in beauty stores. Always request to take a sample home if you're interested in buying foundations; most beauty counters are happy to allow that. I use this only on nights out and special occasions if I feel like dressing my makeup up a little. I adore the coverage, but is very cakey and I hate the product at times.

What is your most delicious beauty product?
No7's Stay Perfect Lip Laquer (18 Day Dreamer). The smell reminds me of Robinson's Summer Fruit diluting juice! It is heavenly and I have to battle with myself to not lick this product off my lips.

What beauty product do you neglect due to laziness?
Natural Collection's Liquid eyeliner without a doubt. It's so fidly, for me, to master because I'm too lazy to take time to apply it. I usually only apply liquid eyeliner on special occasions when I want my eyelashes to appear bolder, otherwise I smudge pencil eyeliner on my upper lash line during the day.

What beauty products give you the most confidence?
Hands down my favourite beauty products ever; Witch Anti-Blemish Tinted Moisturiser (01 Light) and Rimmel London Hide The Blemish Concealer (001 Ivory). Both these products combined are fabulous to hide my acne scars. I like the concealer in particular as it is great in covering dark circles and is small and compact to easily throw into your handbag for touch ups during the day. These products are a god send for me.

What beauty look or product is an instant hit for you?
I've always liked nude lips. Nude lips and dark, smokey eyes appeal to me. Except, one of my pet peeves is when girls apply concealer to their lips and the product wears off during the day and leaves a bitty, icky residue. I wish I could pull this look off, but being incredibly pale already, nude lips tend to wash me out even more.
What do you admire in the opposite sex?
A great personality. The ability to make me laugh always scores brownie points. Looks are just the overall icing on the cake.

What is the beauty product you'd like to purchase/receive one day?
I would love, love a Clarisonic Mia. That would be heavenly. It's on sale in John Lewis right now for £120. For those who haven't heard the hype, the Clarisonic is an electrical exfoliator device which claims to improve the texture of your skin. Unfortunately, turning 17 and going into sixth year at school is a really expensive period so maybe some subtle hints or a lot of overtime at work will result in a Clarisonic. *dreams*
